Terms of Service
By creating an account or using Lyntl, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep it up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use Lyntl.
Use of the service
Lyntl is a home asset management service for personal use. You agree not to: use the service for any illegal purpose; attempt to gain unauthorised access to the service or its infrastructure; upload malicious software or harmful content; or extract data by automated means without our written permission.
Intellectual property and your data
The Lyntl software, design, and branding are owned by Julian Brenne. Your data belongs to you — we do not claim ownership of content you upload or create within the service. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your data solely to provide the service.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We provide Lyntl with reasonable care and skill. So far as the law allows, the service is otherwise provided "as is" and we give no further warranties. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer — including the statutory guarantees of conformity for digital content and services — which continue to apply in full. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data, interruption of service, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Luxembourg, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on the website at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not agree to the changes, you may close your account at any time before they take effect; continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
