Data we process
When you use Lyntl, we process the following personal data: your name and email address provided at registration or via the contact form; home and asset data you enter into the application; server logs including IP address, browser type, and access timestamps for security and debugging purposes.
Legal basis
We process your data on the following legal bases under GDPR Article 6: contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) for account management and service delivery; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for security, fraud prevention, and service improvement; and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where explicitly given.
Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is removed within 30 days. Contact form submissions are deleted after 90 days. Server logs are retained for up to 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (right to erasure); receive your data in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent at any time where consent is the legal basis. We use external service providers for application hosting and email delivery. These providers process personal data on our behalf under data processing agreements. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
